It’s an aged R4 @LPManic, I wouldn’t have chosen aged as a preference but the weight was right and Doug at Coda gave me a good deal. I have to say it’s a spot on guitar, really pleased and heartily recommended.
Would you have a link to more photos? Love that finish! Incredible.

Back in the day when Flea ran Vintage & Rare on Denmark Street, I was in there for a chat and a browse and he handed me an all original 52 Goldtop. Baseball bat and trapezoid tailpiece. However, it played like a dream and was indeed green.

    It was 8.5 grand.

    If I'd have known.

This is a 2014 factory-aged R6. Two pics from World Guitars and one of mine. The actual colour is somewhat in between the two.

That is gorgeous! If you ever sell keep me in mind - though I have seen that Coda have one...

I was actually going to sell the burst and potentially the 335 here in the forum. But then brexit happened. And since I've got my guitars outside the UK, that's not going to happen anymore.

I am outside the UK as well but may go with the Coda one. Not as green as the Wildwood one but It’s got a nice amount of green in the finish.

I've had wildwood Gibsons before, but this one is actually a regular 54 reissue, not a wildwood at all. However it has quite a bit of green tint in the gold and it's quite a nice guitar. It was bought from http://www.mrjackguitars.com a Gibson dealer in Portugal Lisbon.

Do you mean the 56 reissue VOS one at £3999 at Coda? It is quite greeny. Looks nice.

I do love the bullshit the big companies come out with, goldtops come in different shades, it's the same finish just different tints in it so why charge more

I did a greened out goldtop last year using bronze powder etc because I liked the look, next will be a 54 style with a different hue

I see Epiphone have stopped selling the Les Paul Standard '56 Pro in their latest lineup. The Chicago Blue and Cardinal Red were limited runs but the Gold top was available in 2020 and is now discontinued.
