Low latency USB stick type dac/soundcard?

Im looking for a USB stick type dac/soundcard (AudioQuest Dragonfly, etc) for DAW editing on my windows laptop (so only a headphone out needed). Ive tried my Cayin N3 MP3 player (which can act as an ASIO or WASAPI DAC) and its latency is crap (approx 0.5s) - is there anything else worth trying or are they all aimed at music plating rather than editing? Cheers.

If it's just straight audio editing, then just use the standard drivers and the headphone jack on your laptop. 

Are you actually recording audio as well, DI guitar? If so, different matter.

Ive managed to get much better latency using the Line6 SonicPort VX I use with my ipad (Id forgot that it had a normal USB cable input), so Im happy with that at the moment. The issue was clicking on the drums in Superior Drummer to make drum loops was impossible as the sound was too delayed to know if it was triggered correctly.
