Bought from Coda during lockdown, then I sent the chassis to Phil at Matchless to add the HC30 ef86 channel, push pull master and channel switching. He also made a brand new footswitch for the Reverb and tremolo circuits and one for the channel changing. Due to returning to only playing bass this incredible beauty is up for sale. It’s a one handed lift but you must have had your Weetabix first, she’s around 80lbs. NOS Mullard 12ax7 and ef86 preamp tubes really make a difference. Switchable from 30w to 15w and with the master it’s comfortable at home, not a mark on her and obviously Phil made custom front & back panels to suit the build. I’m happy to show and include the receipts and emails from Phil regarding this. I’ll include some alternative tubes including a different rectifier which adds sag to the amp and “tames” her....where’s the fun in that. 

£2400 ppg inc delivery, Either by myself or courier depending on location. Rest assured the packaging will be bomb proof. I’m in no hurry to sell and would rather it go to a good home.

I would say that is pretty much my perfect amp too. So now I must stay away from this site until it's sold otherwise I could very well weaken and get myself into trouble with my bank manager. GLWTS .......

This is my old amp and it is an absolute corker. It’s since had further work done and some NOS glass added so i hate to think how much better it has become. If i can shift my jp2c...I’d love to have her back. If not then glwys
