This is a great price and I suspect it will not be here very long. GLWS

Out of curiosity why did you prefer the Boss Waza tuner?

Because I wanted a tuner with a switchable buffer and always on display...I like to see when I’m bending to pitch....with the polytune and Peterson you can leave the display on, but it also puts the buffer on...I have a couple of buffer sensitive fuzz pedals.

This makes sense but I thought you could set screen always on and still have buffer off.
Switch 1 controlled the bypass or buffer (OFF is bypass / ON is buffer)
Switch 2 controlled the screen (OFF is Screen off / ON is screen always on)

I know in the manual it only talks about:
    - Switch 1 Off Switch 2 Off (true Bypass)
    - Switch 1 On Switch 2 Off (buffer bypass)
    - Switch 1 On Switch 2 On (buffer bypass / Screen always on)

Did you try Switch 1 Off Switch 2 On?

I actually contacted Tc who confirmed it, the Peterson strobe works in exactly the same way....I found the TC manual slightly misleading, but it is in fact correct.

But the waza is worth the extra money anyway, built like a tank, does exactly what i wanted it to do and looks great...it costs more than twice the polytune, but its a keeper for sure
