For sale is this very very clean Gretsch G6122-1959 Chet Atkins Nashville

I’m guessing anyone liking will know that this is the version issued to replicate Chet’s own favourite guriar, with TV Jones Classic + in the bridge, TV Jones Supertron in the neck

This is the earlier model with Grover Imperial tuners. It does NOT come with the fixed bigsby arm, only the crooked arm. It is in excellent condition with some gold tarnish, but very little play wear.

Just not playing the kind of music this needs to be used for so much.

Price assumes PPG, and will include shipping to mainland UK.

Whilst I’m happy to take offers, they would have to be close, as this is reasonably priced.

Would seek only a Jazzmaster or Jaguar in some form of trade

  • I’m offering this beautiful Custom Shop Telecaster in aged Shoreline gold before its possibly traded to a UK shop

hand wound pickups, AAA Rosewood neck, sanded rear, 9.5” radius, medium/light Relic, case and all candy, DOCS. All included

I have replaced the (intact and included) original wiring harness with a James Home of Tone solderless issue. So in case you lost your mind and felt these amazing pickups weren’t for you, you can try others out, in a 5 minute swap job.

No trades unless you have a comparable Jazzmaster or Jaguar

price will include shipping to mainland UK and assumes PPG

I've played that Tele and it's a cracker. The matching headstock looks awesome.

Plus Chris is a great guy to deal with.

    GLWTS.

I second that. Chris is great to deal with, knows his stuff and really looks after his guitars.

I know it's 9.5 and sanded but what is the neck shape ? .....fat or thin ?
    lovely looker

  • Hello - the neck is described as a 63 C shape strat type. I think it’s quite a fat neck, I find it very comfortable to play, but it’s definitely on the fat side!
