    Complex history in and out of The Wailers, one of the multiple lead vocalists on the early tracks if a bit sidelined as Bob Marley rose to prominence.  Also a long solo career and work with many others. Very sweet voice. I gather he stayed mostly in Jamaica involved in his faith rather than pursuing a bigger career. 
    Tipton is a small fishing village in the borough of Sandwell.

    I just posted this on the other fb. One of the greatest gigs I'&I've been to in my life. He was truly amazing, gentle, caring, deeply musical, spiritual.

    I listened to the rest of that Blackheart Man album on Spotify there. The guy has such a sweet voice.
    The band do a super version of the old Gospel 'This Train' as well.
