Fender Stratocaster 50s Hot Rod USA in Fiesta Red and in original condition. Super light at 7.2 lb. Barely any fretwear.. one slight mark which is barely noticeable. It plays fantastic and sounds tremendous. Looks pretty incredible too. All paperwork seems to be there.Original Fender G n G tweed case. Only made for 1 year. Certainly AVRI standard. Not looking for trades tbh as letting a few loose. I’m based in North East England £1350
Brilliant guitar, particularly if you like light Strats

My Hot Rod 50s Strat is absolutely the best guitar I own. When I found it (in CCGX) they also had a '63 Strat that had allegedly belonged to Chris Rea. I spent a bit of time playing both one after the other, and I honestly couldn't decide which I thought sounded better.

I'm slightly tempted by this even though I obviously don't need it just because of how sad I'd be if anything happened to mine. Love the neck on these so much. If I ever saw a spare Hot Rod 50s neck for sale I'd definitely want to buy it.

Where did you get your specs from? Mine was used so I didn't get a spec sheet, but all the searches I've done say they have an ash body... Reverb, GAK, Bax, reviews on Guitar Interactive and Chorder, etc.
My YouTube channel, Half Speed Solos: classic guitar solos demonstrated at half speed with scrolling tab and no waffle.

Hi Jonny. I mailed Fender direct. Really helpful. Sent a pic/ serial and back came the full spec.
To be honest. The best Strat I’ve ever had too. And that’s out if dozens in nearly 49 years. I said I’d give it to the end of the week then keep it.
    Send them an email Jonny
    cheers!
