    On reflection, I don't think it splits the audience - I was never up for a gear meet. Horses for courses.

    Is this for the drink or the gear meeting? Seeing as the two are mutually exclusive I need to know before I tentatively commit only to pull out a bit later.

    This is both...we are meeting at the old doctor butlers head...some people will bring gear, others may not...its just a chance to meet, drink and play/talk with some gear, GAS and anything else.

    I guess the only difference with this is that I have booked a room...so we'll have a whole space to ourselves.

    I've been to 2 meets in that pub and it's been as much about drinkies as it's been about gear, they are not mutually exclusive. ;)

    If anyone want to try something different I can bring my Martyn Booth Special. Not the easiest to play , but resonates little crazy ....

    I can be there from 5.30   as I work just around the corner.

    Yeah still on.

    As far as gear goes, i believe we have a guitar, a THR amp and I'll bring my pedal board...(dirt, fuzz, wah, phase, delay, verb)

    but the more gear the better!

    is @TheGuitarWeasel coming?
