    For the guitars in the OP, black is a clear winner for me. The white is just too white and looks a bit like an afterthought. The black compliments the guitar much better. Imo of course.

    White, but the real answer is I wish the bodies were a different colour.  I really don't like blonde/butterscotch Teles, even though these look like very fine examples.

    Black. White pickguards pretty much universally look crap. Just reminds me of white goods like a washing machine faceplate or something. At the very least it has to be an off white parchment or aged a bit.
