Pet hate of mine is simple products that clearly do not live up to the advertised task .
There are so many such items and the likes of a Homebase or B and Q are full of them.
Most annoying example this week ; ANTI -KINK Hosepipe ......dry spell,watering garden and veg time and I'm sick of re-tracing my steps to unravel / unkink the hose.
Bought the "Unkinkable " hose............it's shit ......worse than normal hose........complete waste of £60 .
  This kind of blatent failure /misdesription should be stamped on.
"oh,it's the way you're using it Sir "........Yes because turning on a hose is Rocket Science !

I should have known this since age 12 when I was bought Bert Weedon "Play in a Day " Guitar Tutor book...........
It's been 45 years since and I'm still bloody trying !!!!!!!!!!!!

WD-40 "specialist" fast drying contact cleaner. Fast drying my arse! I'd have done a better job on my electronics using your ANTI-KINK hosepipe.

Primaloft thermal lining, now, the Ixon gloves themselves are great but the Primaloft lining described as perfect for winter is shite! I've worn them out the past few nights at no less than 1-2° and my fingers were proper done in. Useless.

No more nails. Never had any success with it, always use silicone to stick things. Other than giving it time to cure it works a lot better, sticks like s**t to a blanket.

A bit historically redundant, but those acoustic hood things on public telephones.

I can remember phoning home from Euston station, not being able to hear a word from the other end and thinking some scamming bastard has made a fortune selling these things and they don't work at all.
