Super 70 pickup no stamp?

What's Hot

Picked up a real nice set neck antoria,  I was told that it was fitted with super 70 pickups but taking them out there is an ink stamp but no embossed super 70 stamp .

Did they ever make them without the stamp, it's a zebra style pickup without a cover

Thanks

Definitely Maxon, but I don’t know if they will be the same spec as Super 70s.

That's interesting. I always wondered what the magnets in the Super 58s in my IBZ Artist semi are.

Mine from my 70’s Ibanez were stamped on the back would of been 76 and the magnets were Alnico 8 I swapped them a few times and the Alnico 8 was rough cast not polished.

ultimately those Maxon pickups were pretty usable
