FS - Danplifier handwired ef86 vox AC15 with top boost and mods - £300

Danplifier ac15. Brilliant amp - this one has loads of really cool features. Has a non-microphonic ef86 in the preamp (an old mullard I think but will check...).

Amp has some nifty features, including:
- top boost circuit on a pull-knob. 
- master volume on a pull knob - push it in, and the master is out of the circuit.
- 6-way tone switch. This is great - I can dial in for a les paul, tele or strat!
- 3 way bright switch 
- volume - which becomes a gain control when master is engaged

Fitted with a celestion vintage 10 speaker, so it's a 1x10 cab. This is built into the chassis of an old cheap vox transistor amp, so it's a rescue mission to turn something naff into something really quite awesome. This can do all classic ac15 tones but at manageable volumes and in a very portable package! 

Love this amp, but I don't use it all that much anymore. I'm sure I'll regret it. Looking for £300, but open to offers. Excellent for gigging but also has a low noise floor for recording.

Price reduced to something more realistic.  as you'd expect for an old amp shell there are some scuffs in the tolex but it's a bit of a looker imo.

You're welcome to give it a wee blast if you're local and interested, borrow it for a day or two (due to restrictions).

Thanks for the offer, but I already have a Vox-flavoured 15W combo, so can't really justify this one too.

If you scroll down some of the pictures towards the end work (at least they did for me.)

Bumping this. Also saw a 10" greenback for sale here for a good price, which would be a match made in heaven... hand wired ef86 goodness for a bargain price!

There are probably a lot of people just waiting for you say you have a box and can post now. After all, everyone should have an EF86 Vox

Definitely not happening! I've had three amps in my lifetime well packed arrive damaged... But I appreciate the sentiment  

It's worth a fairly decent round trip though, guys. I bet it's cheaper to drive 100 miles than for me to courier
