this was a fun, odd thing to do. I'd not played live guitar in about two years, we had one rehearsal before it, and Adam and I both had colds. That said, I'm really pleased to share it with those of you who're interested - Hope you enjoy.

This show fully bonded me with that tele, I’ll say that much. Was lovely to play at match volume, and sounds so great.

Really enjoyed it, great songs and personally prefer the 'proper band' approach to the duo.  Coolest venue anyone will ever play in too.

Sounds great, Gav, and that Tele is lovely. Where are all the keyboard etc noises coming from? Is the singer controlling from laptop and you're all playing to a click track with in-ears?

close. Our electronics run in an ableton live session (Laptop with singer). Drummer has in-ears yes, and he plays to his own mix / click etc. I have a Midi clock feed from the laptop into my board, so that my delay and my Infinity Looper are always synced. I trigger myself still, but I do a lot of live looping so they need to be solid or it'd sound horrific. No in-ears for me though; I just get as good a wedge mix as I can.

Thanks for explaining. Very clever! I'd love to do all that, but think it would confuse me!

Pigtronix Infinity is pretty much the only looper that behaves in the way you need it to for the above to work. It really is brilliant, and allows for little old me to make a big noise all on my own. The end of the last song in this set a good illustration, but I loop on every song in that set.

Thanks. I wish a) we hadn’t both had a cold and b) we’d have had more than one rehearsal... but that said, it was a huge privilege to do and on balance I’m pretty pleased with it.

I think it sounded great. Fair play to your man as well, the vocal range on those songs would be tough with a cold.
