    Funnily enough, I was born in 1964 but I have a Custom Shop Strat based on 1971 specs. :)

    I would really like one of those '64 reissue SGs, as a pretend birth-year guitar (I'm not interested in buying proper vintage stuff).  They have the chunkier neck, rather than the skinny things which put me off most SGs.  But I can't deny the price is intimidating and I'm not sure if they make them without the Maestro?

    You lucky wretch!  Well I didn't get a cake for my 60th, but Mrs O bought me a Boss Katana Air, which wasn't bad going.  That said, I bet she did did so through tightly gritted teeth...
