Kali Audio LP6 vs Adam Audio T7Vs

Am looking to get some new monitors as an upgrade from my M-Audio BX-8 (mk 1).
One of them has developed a horrid hum, whilst they go down low they lack quite a bit of
detail. They are like a hi-fi speaker, they make everything sound nice.
Every demo I have heard of the Yamaha HS7s I've not liked, they sound quite boxy to me.

Not had a chance to hear to the two in the flesh, but from reviews they both seem to get really good ratings.
Music wise it's mainly guitar based rock/blues/prog so no need for real sub bass.

They will be quite close to a wall about at about 30cms, the LP6s are front ported so wondering if that may be better
for the positioning.
