I'm after a pickup too, but there are modern replacements available.

I have two on my old SB1000 but I’m not selling...

Just posting to say.. nice bass.   I assume the neck is as great as the one on mine.

I have two on my SB-R60 as well, and definitely not selling .

Very hard to find. Your best bet would be to find someone with an Aria with one missing knob, and offer a new pair of knobs of their choosing plus any necessary financial inducement...

I've seen worse. There have been some hideously butchered examples on Ebay, sadly.


To reverse the question a bit... does anyone happen to have an SB-R80 they might be willing to sell?

I should point out that the bass in the picture above is not the one I'm working on, it was just a good shot of the type of knob I'm after.

I'll keep looking, but it looks like he'll be disappointed.

I managed to find someone in the US who makes replicas, so I ordered one - only £19 inc. shipping.
