Tonight I will be playing bass in public with two musicians I’ve never played with before, playing music I don’t know, and I can’t read. What could possibly go wrong?

Actually it’s two fiddle players doing a lot of Burns songs. According to one of them it’s all the same and it will be fine

Surgeonaires live at the Marshall Lounge, upstairs at the Kings Arms 110 Uxbridge Road, Hanwell W7 3SU. Our mates, Signs of Life, are the support act so they will be on from 9 until 10 and then the Surgeonaires are on until closing time. It will be fun.
