Tonight private function at Baltonsborough Somerset, weather is absolutely awful, high winds, heavy rain. Replaced back fence panels twice already, now I have patio furniture up against fence, braces everywhere, just hope I can get to gig and back.

The Holly Bush, Headley, Hampshire tonight

First time I'll be using my 'marmite' Victory 40 at a gig. Whatever happens, it's lucky I got it because I've done my back in and I wouldn't be able to lift my HRD3

With my bad back, I'll probably have to sit on my folding bar stool most of the night. Also,  we've had to find a dep drummer at very short notice. Should be fun.

Just back. Somewhat unresponsive audience except for one woman who danced to pretty much everything. After the gig she came up to me and said ( quoting as accurately as I can)' all these people are dead inside, you have something to live for.' Which was nice... :o3
