Anyone seen this/tried it? Thoughts?

Wondering if it'd be a good upgrade for my RME Baby-face?

Sound on Sound rated them really highly in the reviews i read recently. I’d like to try one myself.

    I have some Camden 500's.
They punch above their weight, sound good on a variety of instruments and are probably the best bargain going in 500 series preamps.
Will they end up as well regarded as Neve 1073's or API 512's - almost certainly not.
    Big deal.

Usually stuff that is priced semi-pro sounds semi-pro.
    These don't.

@octatonic is it worth it for DI'ing guitars and basses? I'd like an upgrade for my RME Babyface DI and the marketing blurb says it's such!

Never used a Babyface DI so I can't say for sure but I would imagine so.

Thank you, @octatonic, it's quite clinical!

FWIW I rarely use the same DI for guitar and bass.
Bass I use the Groove Tubes ViPre most of the time.
Guitar is something I rarely DI at all but if I did then I'd use an API 512.
