I've spent a fair bit of time getting my head/hands/fingers around this during lockdown. I love it.....still a long way to go to get where I'd like to be but really enjoying the journey so far!

I was 18 ish when I decided to have a crack at Piedmont blues. It took me months and months  to get it down then more months to alternate the bass.

 I’ve never dedicated myself to anything else like I have to that guitar style 

Im 42 now and still never held a pick in my right hand

so good luck to you, Fingerstyle guitar is the only guitar

Haha... I was around 42 when l started fingerstyle after years of being picky Strummer..  maybe l got lucky cos l managed to get it together pretty quickly..... Its definately the way to go......
