Video and audio capture software Win 10

Hi all. Been looking for some software that will let me record video and audio on my PC to send my tutor. The software that cam with my camera will not let me configure the audio to use my mic it will only allow me to use the web cam mic that is bloody awful.
I have a separate marantz USB mic that I want to use. I downloaded Debut VC on recommendations but it crashes every time despite a few installs and tries. I dont mind if there is a small charge but dont want a professional (expensive) program.

I just use my Windows 10 camera program with a Logitech C920 webcam to record videos for my students, then for the audio I have a Focusrite interface so just set that as the audio input in settings.

I use Loom - very simple to record face to camera or your computer desktop, or a combination of both. 

There is a free version, and the paid for plan is about £60 a year or something like that.  It makes sharing quick videos really easy.
