WTB: 10-15W Tube amp, max £500

Morning everyone,

Looking to try another tube amp after foolishly letting go of my AC15 earlier this year. 

Open minded on options but I do tend to prefer the Vox or Fender kind of sound,

let me know if you have anything!

It's an EL84 powered circuit but I'm not sure it's really a Vox sound - but it is a good sound, I think, and very versatile. Not too far from you either, happy to meet up or deliver to Poole (and absolutely nothing to do with getting to look at your guitars, no sir )

These do look tidy but if it’s more like a Marshall or Blackstar it’s not quite to my taste but I appreciate it!

Very keenly priced indeed but I had a HTR in the past they didn’t quite work for me despite being a wonderfully made amp.

I do not have one for sale, but in that price bracket I'd be looking for either the Fender Pro Junior or the Supro Blues/Delta King 12, which seems to have a Fender sounding character.

Yeah - those two are certainly what comes to mind, maybe the Blues Jnr and DK12 given its 12” speaker

the Blues King 12 is 100% my recommendation, and has been the only amp I've used in a year. I love it.

If you can find one used, the original 10w Laney Cub 10 with 6V6s (Not the latest 6w Super Cub10 that has an EL84) is a very sweet, very Fendery/Voxy sounding amp, that was very popular with great reviews.

There's a very nice looking Fender Supersonic 22w 1x12 combo in the classifieds here for £575.  Always worth a chat to see if there's any possible flexibility on price?

Thanks for all the replies guys, they do look excellent but hear me out.. 

I popped into the local big music shop and had a go on a HRD, I think I might be able to make it work.. the master volume on the IV seems to really work. Am I bonkers?
