If I owned any of these amps I wouldn't be likely to sell it to buy one of the others (at least not for reasons of tone).  By the time I'd dialled in what I wanted I think the extent to which one was better than another would be too marginal to matter.

Thanks James.  @dazzajl I tend to lean towards the cleaner, trebley side of things but that Vox sounds good on every setting.  It's the only amp I've used where I love all the sounds just adjusting through the guitar volume.  Very house friendly too.

Jackpot! I’ve played one a long time ago and have a Vibrolux modded to a Vibroverb circuit and something just rang a bell. 

Not keen on the others.

Before I saw the reveal, I’d have gone A, C, B. Probably because I like Fender type amps. I’d take A and C any day of the week but the Hiwatt didn’t do it for me. Perhaps it needs a Gilmouresque pedalboard to bring it alive.
