Tone King Gremlin 5 watt combo in cream with brown grill cloth. This is brand new with tags. Unfortunately the previous one I had for sale developed a fault so Coda music sent out a brand new replacement to me. Only briefly tested to check it was all working .

A very simple amp with Blackface/Tweed voiced inputs and a single volume and tone control. Also features a built in Iron Man II attenuator with stepped control at the rear along with a line output. Sounds great but I just don’t seem to bond with it for some reason.

Comes with original box and packaging along with manual and power lead.

Trade wise I’d be interested in Fender Champ/Vibro Champ or something similar, a low power Marshall Head/Combo or a Teenage Engineering OP-1.

£950 Shipped. SOLD

Cheers,

Dan

Have recently acquired one of these, I wasn't certain it would be the perfect home amp as advertised but it is pretty much.  The attenuator is absolutely brilliant, the rhythm setting is blackface quality and the lead is a growly tweed amp.

Has kicked my 65 princeton into touch.

Yeah it sounds great. I love the tweed setting cranked but even at full attenuation I still find it louder than expected. I tend to be using the amp clean at low volume with a drive pedal which I feel defeats the point a bit.

Last bump before I try Ebay but would rather sell or trade on here. In perfect condition and less than 2 months old!

Having had my gremlin for some time I like it more and more. Even with the attenuators on full you can get a great tone, just need to increase the tone as you go into the lowest attenuators settings.

The black face setting is by far the one I use most but plug in a 335 into the tweed and it’s a proper blues machine.

I am using pedals less and less.

Thanks for the endorsement :)  Wish I got on with it better. I wouldn’t mind keeping it but a £1250 amp is lot of money to have sat in the corner not doing much.
