Sea Dog from Aldi. Good cheap one.
It's not called Sea Dog any more, they've rebranded it as Cassario. Same label though.

    Rum and coke is best...

    ... in separate glasses .

And preferably on separate days ;).

Rum is vile, Coke is even worse, so why you'd want to mix 2 disgusting drinks together to produce one revolting liquid is beyond me.
Might as well drink bleach and drain cleaner together.

  • Can't stand spiced rum unless it's home spiced. Shop bought is usually over sweet and lacking in anything that elevates the actual rum flavour.

Muddle half a lime with a handful of fresh garden mint and a couple of peppermint leaves and some sugar, add crushed ice, add rum, top with some sparkly water (or prosecco if you feel fancy, or champagne if you want it to taste the same but cost more) and you've got my preferred rum cocktail.

What! I’ll have to go and get a bottle for testing purposes.

Never mind all these namby-pamby, pinkie in the air, poofter spiced rums, what I want to know is what happened to good old, down-to-Earth, sailors Four Bells rum? Tell me that.

We used to buy it onboard for 96p a litre on the ship, so we knew it was good, and now it’s simply disappeared. Sailor Jerry? Who the fuck is he? Captain Morgan? Never saw him when I was at sea, I reckon they’re all made-up names.

mrs f turned me onto gin & tonic; not as clumsy or random as rum n coke, a more elegant drink, from a more civilised day.

I'm not locked in here with you, you are locked in here with me.

Company making Four Bells folded a while back, apparently it's worth trying Alnwick Rum for a substitute dark rum.

I'm a Kraken man (Aldi do a great knock off for £14.99 btw) but just had some House of Elrick and a bottle of Bumbu.
    Lush.
I contend that the Aldi knock off is better than Kraken.
