MJW Roadstar 36 FS with matching 2 X 12 cab . (Will split)
I bought this amp second hand in 2016. The vinyl covering was slightly tatty and I already had an MJW 2 x 12 cab in red snakeskin so I got Martin Whelan at MJW to recover the amp to match the cab as well as checking it over.
He sent me pictures of the amp when it was new (2010) on his bench
The amp is in good condition still, the cab is not bad but it has a few small rips. The speakers in the cab are Tayden True Brits - 50 watts each. It is 16 ohm mono or stereo 8 ohms. I put tape over the stereo input so I didn't accidentally plug into it in a dark venue. I bought this cab via eBay from Martin Whelan himself, it had been his personal cab I believe.
The amp has 4 EL84 Sovtek output valves, 3 JJ ECC83 pre amp valves and a JJ GZ34 rectifier.
It has a boost switch on the front panel but this is not footswitchable.
Hopefully someone will want the amp and cab as a matching set but I will split if necessary.

Somebody should really buy this. I miss mine but I’ve got way more amps than I need.
My mate tried mine and was just left pointing at it saying “that’s the sound! That’s the sound in my head”
