    I loved seeing them live, their harmonies were so perfect and they recorded songs that spoke directly to the human heart. Very sad.

    That article says at the end that he is survived by his wife, his children, and his mother!!  So we checked to ensure it wasn't a mistake, and sure enough she is still alive at the age of 101.  What a dreadful thing for her.

    I couldn't count the times I've sung (in various bands over the years) "Dream", "Bye Bye Love", "Crying In The Rain" and others - RIP.
