Anyone a Turnstile fan?

What's Hot
I'm a huge Punk/Hardcore fan and Turnstile are a band that keep pushing the boundaries between genres and their new album honestly pushes the boundary even further.

Between this and The Bronx they're going to be high up AOTY lists I think.

Yeah, this and The Bronx VI are getting a lot of play time currently! Can't wait for the new Every Time I Die as well, the singles have been great so far.

Great band… loving the new album.  They’ll get lumped in with the HC scene but they’re better than that.

I’m going down the front…who’s with me?

Great show……and a fantastically diverse audience, too.  This has inspired me to lose some stones and jump off a stage one last time.  ;)

  • After seeing the incredible televised Glastonbury performance, they have a new fan here. I had heard them before but it didn't click. Seeing them play live, with so much energy, it's all fallen into place. Been listening to Glow On, great album.

it was interesting seeing them play to such a sedate crowd.

Never heard of them before and not usually my cup of tea but I saw the Glastonbury set and thought they were excellent.  :)

  • oddly enough I saw them again this weekend on Saturday at a hardcore festival where there was no barrier and it was a totally different environment to glasto so the energy was much more intense, However they are such good performers that even watching the glasto set made me smile.

The Radio 1 session is worth checking out, sounds much better than the latest album.

Discovered them relatively recently but I'm really enjoying them. There's something special about them and they do seem to manage to avoid so many of the current HC cliches.

Agree about the Bronx too. I saw them live during their first UK tour (2003?) and they absolutely blew me away. Matt's voice is utterly incredible.

Off are great too. How Keith Morris manages to sound the same as he did 40 years ago is beyond me.

Turnstile are getting very popular right now, and it's been confirmed that they will be touring with blink-182 on their reunion tour next year.
