In some ways he was typecast after the success of OFAH but what a brilliant character especially when in real life he was nothing at all like him

Sad to hear this news. I couldn't imagine Boycie played by anyone else. I thought that his 'Monty' in Benidorm was played very well, too, although there were definite shades of Boycie in there.

He made me laugh a lot, and thank I'm grateful for that.
