I have a lovely Martin 0028VS in spruce and EIR.
1 7/8 nutwidth which is great for fingerstyle - suprising how easy this actually is coming from 1 3/4.
Now discontinued but great reviews all around on this forum and beyond.
Excellent condition. Photos on link below
Based in Sheffield.

Would you be able to send a short sound clip to me of the guitar on WhatsApp or email.

I have never played 00028vs but listening to many examples on line I hear quite a range of tonal responses from mellow (e.gs. www.youtube.com/watch?v=DvBQWWVBokA, or www.youtube.com/watch?v=nI-Bq5TLaiM&t=322s), through to brash and bright such as The good clips sound really good but the latter example is not what I am looking for.  Obviously many variables could affect this so would like to get some idea of the sound of your guitar.  Let me know if this is possible.  Kind regards.  Philip

This was mine for a while, if I had the funds I’d probably buy it back. Fantastic guitar.

  • I've played a few of these. The slightly shorter scale length make these easier to play than say a D-28 and they have better sustain, owing to the slotted headstock IMHO. This one is at a very reasonable price too.

  • This is a truly wonderful guitar. The short scale length is lovely to play. It's much louder than you would expect too.
