It turns out those Boss baseplates I mentioned upthread are shit!  I went to un-Velcro one of the pedals and the baseplate snapped at the mounting points, obviously shearing along a 3D printing layer boundary.  FFS.  I'm going to message the seller and see what's what, I can't imagine there's much comeback.

Looks great that, I'd love to try that Chroma Console one day.

    Thanks! @Revolutions ;
@AntonHunter there was one listed on here recently, I really like the simplicity of the controls, it’s quite user friendly and tactile, having the midi flexibility to recall presets is handy as well. As you can see it’s kicked nearly everything else off my board!

  • Recent small board powered by a Cioks 4 and a rechargeable battery. An amazing grab-and-go board.

If there were rules, I'd say no.

Maybe it's small *for you* and represents a more stripped back approach than you're used to?
    Red ones are better.

I think I might have misunderstood the rules.

I thought if you didn’t have multiple pedals that do the same thing, a pedal that goes mahwahbeeeeepppo and a pedal that goes ping, it meant you had a nano or pico board?

There are no rules but the ones in each of our own heads.

I have a single-row board with 6 pedals (one is a tuner) - to my mind, 6 pedals isn't small. YMMV.

Once, for fun, I made up names for pedalboard sizes where each letter in the name represents one pedal. They go:

TimmyO's Unofficial Small Pedal Board Size Classifications:

    MASSIVE (7+)
    TOOBIG (6)
    SMALL (5)
    SMOL (4)
    TNY (3)
    !! (2)

    (1 isn't a board)

    Red ones are better.

Are you on about a pedal or oversharing personal grooming info?

Edit @TimmyO my wife suggested you maybe correct and my board takes up too much of her living room.

very tempted by a collider. Does the tape setting do multi head, or just single?

My board is getting progressively smaller, I've chopped it down again today, it's now the size of a pedaltrain Jr so possibly small? I could lop another 5cm or so off it but it's an old IKEA Gorm board build so I'm using the existing holes in the top piece as a guide.

Full disclosure, I generally run a Fender Reflecting Pool reverb/delay in the loop which doesn't make it to the board as everything on it is run in front of the amp

Looks great, although technically MASSIVE by the standard @TimmyO ;sizing guide.

And it’s got more knobs than mine… is there a knob rule to?

For example, if I had seven pedals but only seven knobs, would that count as a smaller board than one with seven pedals and twenty-six knobs?
