Thanks for that. I now have it saved to Watch Later.
Edit for clarity: I watched a couple of minutes and it looked great, but I saw the length of the video and am saving it for when I have the time to watch it all.

Incredible. Based on this, he must have been in his late 50s when he played for The All Blacks.

The recordings Sonny Boy Williamson made in Sweden (his last recordings btw) with Memphis slim on piano and matt guitar murphy (blues brothers) on acoustic are IMO among the greatest blues recordings ever made. Largely invented on the spot with lyrics inspired by his trip in europe, it reveals a master musician and inspired writer. Not to mention the clarity of the tracks. Available on Aligator records and Storyville, I highly recommend them.

Although he played in the 20s on, Sonny boy began recording in the 1950s. His european dates were in the early 60s.
