Gone - 1996 / 1997 Squier Pro Tone Thinline Telecaster
https://i.imgur.com/fZ7cmeC.jpghttps://i.imgur.com/YKL9Z6c.jpghttps://i.imgur.com/rUbKAgv.jpgAmazing Korean build quality - Its based on the 68 USA Thinline Telecaster but the body, as you
can see, is Bound on one side . . . Not too many around in this condition. Great Telecaster, plays
well & sounds well . .
These were only made for a limited amount of time and then Fender USA stopped production as sales
rivalled the USA Thinline Models so the story goes . . .
Its got a brand new Tonerider Hot Classic Bridge Pickup which sounds absolutely amazing and its
paired with a cheeky little Artec Fat Slug in the Neck, together and individually they both sound way
above their price point. Its also fitted with a "Home of Tone" Wiring Loom . . .
Comes with a Fender Deluxe Gig Bag. Plenty of information about these on the NET . . .
Local pickup from OL2 7QT for £400 or I have a box and will pack it up like a kipper for your Courier.

Is the poly finish as thick and gloopy as on the Squier Classic Vibe natural thinlines? (I realise that might be difficult to answer ...)
How would you describe the neck? I have a Squire Classic Vibe 50's and I would ideally like something thicker than that
Is the discoloration on the fretboard from wear and tear or something else?
Thanks for your time --looking forward to the replies

Build quality is great on this one, definitely as good as the Japanese Fenders I've owned in the past and equally as good as the USA Telecaster I also own but, from memory, Korean made Fenders and Japanese Fenders too had quite poor wiring . . .
This one is lovely as it has a decent Home of Tone Wiring Loom . . . I suppose a purist would change out the neck pickup but, honestly, as cheap as they are, they are a surprisingly good pickup . . . The bridge pickup is a Tonerider Hot Classic and I just love them . . . Ive had quite a few Tonerider Pickups over the years and I haven't ever had a bad word to say about them . .
All that said, It's on the chopping block as I have my eye on something special and I need to make some sacrifices :-(
