Got Amazon Prime? Watch this film!

Ok, so not necessarily everyones type of film, but me plus daughters just saw and absolutely loved this film:

It's a low budget film, and just one of the weirdest yet entertaining things you are likely to see. At only 80 mins long it won't waste too much of your life. I would strongly recommend NOT watching the trailer though as it has spoilers, just dive in if you are going to watch it.

It's very inventive/creative and won 13 awards on release at different film festivals.

  • I remember reading about that when it came out. My wife's working tomorrow night, I'll give it a go :)

Cool I'll give that a watch.

I watched Snowpiercer on Prime yesterday. Always wrote it off as a shitty popcorn movie, but its by the guy who did parasite.

In need of some cheering up/ distraction I have watched this.
Probably watchable with older children but there are quite a few uses of the F word so that may rule it out.
Very different, very imaginative. Felt a bit like a student film that somehow got a bigger budget ( although it’s still low budget by Hollywood type standards).

I was about to give up on it after the first 20 minutes then watched it to the end.

    Sorry, but....... meh.

  • Loved it to bits, first film I've seen for a while that was thought-provoking - people never finishing stuff / artists relationship to his work / artistic selfishness - and pretty hilarious from the get go.

Appreciate if it's not your thing, I really enjoyed it :)

Just watched it on your recommendation, @axisus.

I don’t know what to make of it. Never seen anything like it before. Did I like it or did I hate it? I genuinely don’t know. I’m gonna have to process it for a while.

The outro tune was excellent, though.

    Bit of trading feedback here.

It was interesting, but felt like it was trying too hard to be weird to me. I think the maze was a metaphor for his brain/life.

I liked it. Does owe a debt to Joe Hill’s (much darker) short story Voluntary Committal though.

It was ok. Hooked me in at the beginning, then got a bit silly and lost me a bit, pulled me back in at the end. There's a lot going on and I would watch it again. Definitely different.
