There are plenty of DJs who’s love of music and passion for turntablism, scratching etc, knowledge of old school hip hop and break beats makes their musicianship undeniable. They are virtuosos in their own right. But this guy, is not. 

This is an example of a person who just thinks he can make music with the guitar because one of his yes men has told him he can, without ever having learned how to. The level of ignorance is astounding.

Before watching it I was thinking so what if he can't play guitar, there's no reason why he should be able to...

But judging by the expression on his face he seems to think all that flailing around amounts to something meaningful.

There is no way on earth he thinks he can 'play'. It's a budget guitar and I'm sure Guild will have put in a hefty cheque alongside the loving note. It's an ad designed to get as many views as possible and it looks like it's going to do very well on that score.

As was I, after being incredibly surprised with how good Post Malone is, who has a genuine light blues touch, i was expecting a similar.
