Apple M1 - Getting from thunderbolt 3 to firewire 400 ?

So I need to get an M1 mini to work with an older firewire 400 interface. Is there an easier way than Thunderbolt 3 to thunderbolt 2 cable then thunderbolt 2 to fire 800 then an 800 to 400 ended cable ?

AFAIK this is the only way to do it.

StudioLive (1st Generation) will not work with Apple Silicon Macs. There are no plans to develop a driver to enable 1394 to connect to these machines. Legacy support is available for Intel Based Macs up to macOSX 10.14.6 (Mojave) and Windows 10 using the UC 1.7.6 release.
