Kingsley Bard - what's the scoop?

Has anyone compared one to a real amp bias trem? It looks like a solid and simple performer regardless.

Mine is the longest lasting pedal on my pedalboard. Plus it has the boost option identical to my favourite setting on the Kingsley Jester.

I tried out a Canadian brand with a ramping feature. I realised that my idea of tremolo was spoilt by starting with the bard. It lacked warmth and suggested an fx. The bard or a good trem bias on an amp begins with the amp sound and then the fx. I never looked again, fearful of finding another pedal with endless possibilities but heartless. The bard is simple one trick wonder. I’m sure the delta trem from effectrode is worth trying too.
