Lovely guitars these. I owned an F360C in the late 80's but with the squared off Martin style headstock and logo. Actually, I thought the newer headstock shape like yours were as a result of Takamine avoiding the lawsuit but I could be wrong.

might have been the case indeed still darn good copy of D18 for a fracture of the price and from trusted manufacturer

Makes sense. It’s not exactly a ‘lawsuit’ guitar with that Tak headstock is it?!
