PRS USA Paul Reed Smith S2 Custom Semi Hollow - £950 - £875 GONE

You don't see too many of these semi-hollow S2's around these days, certainly not in this condition.

All the PRS S2 I have seen have very plain/washed out tops

This has got a really good figured flame maple top which is rare with the S2 and why I picked it in the first place

Hardly played, so is in excellent overall condition with very, very little fret wear.

 Bought quite recently from the eminent TTony
USA model from the mid-1990s.

semi-hollow mahogany body, bound spruce top, mahogany neck and rosewood fingerboard.
Nice and easy on the old back.

Original Seymour Duncan neck pickup has been replaced with a rather wonderful bare knuckles Mississippi Queen 90
in addition to this and the Seymour Duncan bridge humbucker there is also an under saddle piezo for acoustic sounds

One switch is the standard three way neck/both/bridge selector
The other switch is electric/both/piezo selector

Has been played and is therefore not factory fresh but is in pretty good condition particularly given its had over 25 years of use

Not many Hamer USA's come up and they don't tend to hang around.

PRS USA CORE MIRA X 2009 SOLD
You don't see too many of these around these days, certainly not in this condition.
Full fat PRS core for a very reasonable price, I think. Especially with current prices.
Completely stock with original PRS Mira X pickups.
Comes with a PRS deluxe gig bag

The advantage of this Mira model  depending on your perspective of course, is that it is the only Mira model available with PRS wide fat neck profile and 22 frets - at least this is why I got it in the first place
The other thing I liked about the Mira X is that it has the burst finish on the back of the body as well, oh it is also very light!
One tiny ding on front near strap button and if I'm being pernickety, if you look really closely and turn to the light there are a couple of light indentations on the body
But broadly In really fine condition and you really have to look for those indentations
Looking for £750, which I think is fair market value  if not a little under it. Now £725 - £700 - £675 SOLD

Built in the Washburn USA Custom Shop 

Features Mahogany body, carved maple top, set mahogany neck, rosewood fretboard, Seymour Duncan pickups, TonePros Nashville bridge/tailpiece, Grover tuners and the brilliant Buzz Feiten tuning.

So has quality construction, attention to detail and quality hardware.
Just had it professionally fettled, as I don't have the skill, including fret dress and polish

Has 2 inch thick body so bags of tone and sustain, but it is therefore not a lightweight! Thus my reason for sale as the days of substantial guitars are over for me.
Having said that it was advertised when first launched as being less than the weight of a Les Paul - I would say that it is lighter than some but not the weight relieved versions.

I like your thinking, that's exactly why I got mine - same colour too!  It's a shame there wasn't a 22-fret WF option on the regular Mira.

Thanks @Philly_Q  yes indeed there should have been a wide fat mainstream 22 core version 
I notice the current S2 are set to be pattern thin which puts me out completely 
Regular is doable but can’t do thin necks….
