Looks good, the create a drum groove from a guitar track feature is great for what I need. Kind of like a more configurable SDRUM .

Note the upgrade is only 72 euros until it launches on may 3, then it’s  89 euros.

Tomorrow is the day!

How will it work if I have a song laid out in EZD2 song creator and want to load EZD3 to play that creation going forward?

I’m not sure if EZD3 will be able to read the EZD2 song creator. I’m guessing EZD3 will open as a blank song creator as you haven’t technically created anything in EZD3. 

But if you drag and drop the midi file from EZD2 into your DAW, EZD3 will be able to play it 100%.

Downloaded Ezd3 yesterday and watched the vide looks like there are some great new features, can't wait to get into using it.

Thanks mate! I tried dragging some song parts from EZD2 to 3 and it worked. I'm reluctant to use MIDI and drag that in because weirdly, it sounds worse to my ears, lacks some nuances than doing it all in EZD. Probably my ears playing tricks!

I am liking the new features and look and feel of EZD3, great stuff!

Managed a bit of a go on ezd3 yesterday. I hadn't used the song creator before but its great and I w will be using it from now on. I think I saw a button to upload v 2 songs.

I was talking to he-who-can't-be-named earlier this week, asking about drum apps/plugins, and this is what he recommended.

I use Superior Drummer 3 which is brilliant & I’m REALLY hoping the Bandmate feature gets added to it via an update (wishful thinking?)

Is there any way to get a demo for this? It seems they have removed all evidence of the EZD2 demo which I squandered previously because I downloaded the ten day trial and then was too busy to use it so it expired, and I can’t get it anymore.

Q: Is there a trial or demo version available?
A: No, there is currently no trial or demo version available of EZdrummer 3.

Its the same thing with EZ Bass, no trial available. So you either have to take the plunge & buy it or not.

I’ll never understand not making demo versions of software like this. Surely it badly affects sales!
