Stupid question of the day coming ...

People are saying e.g. "sent £42 by paypal"  , so is Paypal separately charging them for the VAT that is mentioned ?
Im confused in what to pay,

No, the forum isn't VAT registered - the VAT is only applied by Patreon. £3.50 * 12 = £42

Is there a problem with the FTB hosted images ? - I get this in Randomgeckos ad. Other externally hosted photos seem to work ok.
