    The ease of uploading pics, especially if you’re mainly here for the classifieds surely makes it worth every penny?

    I wonder which would be cheaper.. the £5-6 per month for subscription or 5-10% final sale fee for items listed in the classifieds ;)

    So is the photo file size still limited? Photos from my phone are generally between 2MB and 3MB, though they're sometimes bigger. I was thinking about subscribing to make use of the photo upload feature but it ain't gonna work, is it?

    This thread from 9th September refers to a 2.1MB file size limitation:

    You can choose a filesize when uploading to FTB on a iphone , not sure for Android. No one needs to post huge pictures on a forum.

    Can we also fix the bug that uploaded images have no filename extension when we download them hence don't open unless manually renaming the file?

    Brilliant , I didn’t realise that . I’m a subscriber but one that still struggles with Imgur to upload images . Thanks

  • Not seen an option for that on Android, unless I'm missing something.  I usually take the pic allowing enough room to crop, which brings the size down enough.

    On iphone select the sliders at lower RHS of screen

    and then select your options - i’ve turned off photo location info and can resize and it will show you file size

    From today, I’ve had annoying thumbnail video ads popping up in the top left of my screen when browsing on the mobile site. The ads stay locked on the top left of the screen regardless of me scrolling. Massively distracting. Will a subscription remove this?

    Yes, the subscription removes the ads and allows you to upload images directly to the forum.

    That absolutely shouldn't be happening - I briefly tried a different ad provider for about half an hour on Tuesday night which might've behaved like that, but I removed the code almost immediately because it was completely uncontrollably wrecking the user experience. Can you get me a screenshot?

    And yes, subscribing will remove all ads, but as I said...this shouldn't be happening in the first place. You could try clearing your cache, your browser might be hanging on to the dodgy code.

    when in editing mode to crop your pic, click on the 3 dots in the top right corner to find the resize option.  I normally reduce mine to 40 or 60% of original size before uploading here

    I subscribed last night with Patreon and received the confirmation email but I’m still seeing ads and can’t seem to upload pics - I’m still only given the option to insert an image url, not upload directly. Am I missing something or just being stupid @digitalscream ;

    Ah, so that was you :) Your Patreon account is registered using a private Apple email address, so it couldn't be linked to your forum account. I'll sort that shortly...
