    Looks like he's just tremolo picking the low E string, while sliding his left hand finger down it without fretting the notes, to bring out the various natural harmonics.  Helped by a load of gain, obvs.

    Whether that actually has a name, IDK.

    No picking...it's just rapid 4-2-0 pull-offs on the G string whilst catching the harmonics with the base of the right-hand palm.

    Helped by a load of gain, obvs ;)
