Mackie DL1608 - Specifically PSU

Sorry for posting this twice but I'm a desperate man.

Good Morning

I’m desperate for a Mackie DL1608 power supply unit for this Saturday.

I’ve looked at the manual and this is the spec, 

100-240 VAC, 50-60HZ, UNIVERSAL SUPPLY, 12V DC, 4A, 5.5mm x 2.5mm barrel. 48W max.

I know its a long shot but I wondered if anyone had an old one lying around or something? If they are willing to sell or even me loan me one for the weekend.

Could you not just order it form Thomann ?

Other than that  ..... Although it uses a locking barrel connector other than that it's just a standard 12V 4 amp I think .... I'm using on on Wednesday so can check polarity for you then if needed but assume it's centre positive so quite common

Thank you, I ordered this one on Wednesday and noticed it still hasn't entered the UK by today so I'm trying to find a contingency.

Thanks Robin, I'll have a look on this page, I have very limited knowledge on power and am unsure if standard ones without the locking barrel will work. I'm assuming they will? Appreciate your help.

Yes, they should do, but won't lock on (obviously!). The one linked is claimed to be 100% compatible so should work just fine.

Power is just power, after all. As long as the voltage is correct, the current capability is at least the required capacity, and the connector is physically the right size (and polarity) it will work.
