So as he was playing just down the road from me I thought I’d go along, Well what a pleasure it was, mostly rockabilly stuff with a country slant and some very slick playing from the man himself making it look effortless. 

His band was good too. 

And a very nice chap he was too when chatting to him after the show.

Definitely go and see him, he is just a stunning player. Long time ago in the 90’s he did a talking tour about his career I saw in Plymouth, that was fascinating blimey that was 25 years ago!

Long time since I saw Albert. He would do a bit of fiddling around before most of the songs and I eventually realised that was tap tempo delay. Works really well as part of his style. Absolute guitar legend, one of those people every guitarist should appreciate even if musically it's not your thing.
