I'm sitting on a beach listening to my 1000+ track playlist on shuffle and this blast from the past just flooded my ear buds and made me smile  

It's titled Heavy Action by Johnny Pearson (from 1970) but you might recall it as the theme for Superstars (70s & 80s BBC TV programme) and/or Monday Night Football (American Football on USA networks but now also broadcast in UK via Channel 5).

Just wondering what other sports TV theme tunes you might remember with fondness ... I'm guessing there is a limitless list of crackers ?
