    Didn’t realise this was Disney+

I’m not the biggest SW fan but MrsTheWeary loves it so this will probably get seen over the weekend,

Ok, so the Book of Boba Fett Started promising then.. well...

So not to get excited prematurely, but this looks good so far. Some very nice touches and it feels legit original Star Wars, whereas something like the Mandalorian, while excellent, and definitely a Star Wars thing, intentionally had a more overt Western feel.

Definitely a good start. Often it feels to me that these D+ shows (Marvel and Star Wars) get announced based on a premise or pitch rather than a fully fleshed out story idea and they then struggle to deliver a story that honours the premise. I'm hoping this one is the exception.

You know, the second episode reminded me quite strongly of playing the early Star Wars games - like Jedi Knight I and II.

Definitely a few moments where I thought, "They're not really trying, here" - I'm guessing most would know what I mean there....

That's Mad because I thought exactly the same thing, Nar Shadda type stuff.

Yep, that's exactly where it took me.

    I'm quite impressed.

The last half hour of the last Bond movie gave me that feeling. They could have storyboarded it from any number of run and shoot type video games.

    I'm surprised we don't have a digitally de-aged Mark Hamill playing a 10 year old luke.  ;)

By the sound of it, it's actually impossible to digitally de-age Jake Lloyd. Poor guy.

It was good. I can tell the direction they're going. Not as dark as I'd like but still good. Flea was great, I love seeing Obi Wan again, and the Inquisitors are pretty convincing.

It was pretty scary seeing the recap of the prequal films. Thought I'd put that behind me, but seeing that recap brought all them old nightmares to the fore.
Gonna have trouble sleeping tonight :(
