I can create a thread in trading feedback.

Hello all

I was having a browse and noticed that I could create a thread in the trading feedback section. I didnt actually create anything: 

Wasnt sure if it was a bug as I thought only modmins could post there? 

I’m using Safari on Iphone.

You usually have to ask admin to create a feedback thread

I think that @skunkwerx is pointing out that the security is incorrect and that people CAN create a thread, when they shouldn't be able to?  Shouldn't it be locked from us underlings?

The reason that the section was - and should be - locked (in that only modmins should be able to create new threads in that section) was to avoid people creating duplicate threads.

@Roland.

Sounds like the rights for the member role have been tweaked, or the restrictions on that section of the forum have been amended, probably accidentally.  Just need amending back,

Aye this. I meant I could actually appear to create a new thread in there when I didnt think we should have been able to.

Ahh so yes it is restricted as it is supposed to be.

Tbh maybe I jumped the gun then as when I first mentioned about it in the OP I just saw that it looked like I could create a thread and presumed if I pressed post it would actually work and thought hmmm that shouldnt let me do that!

But as I see now, it lets you create the draft etc but doesnt actually let you post it!
