Also the original BC Rich models, which were cool although I wouldn't really want to own one now.
    Yes you would Phil.

Oh, Rick is back to haunt me again! D

Truth be told, I do actually own a Mockingbird (MIJ, not USA), not dissimilar to that one.

I miss Hamer - The original USA Hamer Guitar company - So would like to see a return, run by Joel Dantzig - I don't mean the Hamer brand, as of today, in name only, from the far east - I'm talking about the original boutique/custom guitar company from the USA

Many old brand names are brought back to life, mainly via a far eastern production facility - But I'm talking about either a) brands that are still defunct or b) the original company

So who/what would you like to see arise again in its original form
Yes I agree. I'm a an owner of a USA Hamer they are really great guitars.

That is how the youngsters say lush.
always loved the DC, but its the headstock........its just "clumsy"
just because you don't, doesn't mean you can't
just because you do, doesn't mean you should.

We may be the only two people on this forum who love RD.  And you may be the only person on this forum who looks like him (allegedly)  :-)

I’m also a big RD fan, and would also love to own a USA mockingbird.
Paul Chapman was fond of the odd BC Rich as well.

Not guitars but Peavey amps built in USA with proper solid state transistor circuits, like the late 70s early 80s amps.

They would be on many stages in place of Fender HRDs if they were like they used to be.

I feel like I should row back on that a bit.... if you ever see a picture of me you'll think what the fuck?   :3  But no, there is a general resemblance... it's not exactly a Prince and the Pauper scenario though.

Paul Chapman, a member of another of my favourite old bands, Lone Star.  He also had that really cool non-reverse Firebird with a bridge humbucker.

I never quite get the Hamer fandom. The headstocks always looked poor to me.

The current Chinese one is just as good, and I've replaced an HRD with one.
They still have proper solid state transistor circuits, only the reverb is digital.

Most of the Matsumoku factory lines - Westone, Westbury, the proper Arias (not what the brand is stuck on now), Maya etc.
    This
so if you fancy a reissue of a guitar they never made in a colour they never used then it probably isn't too overpriced.

I had a thing called a kawai pocket band , it had various styles of backing track sort of like midi sounding & you could slow it down etc . I liked their K1 keyboard I’ve got a VST of it

A classic Westone bass in action at Glastonbury today with Nova Twins.

A hell of a sound for just the two of them (plus a drummer).
