£950 NOW £900 for the SB55/v.  Including case

Back up for sale after no contact from orgiginal buyer.  Selling my used Eastman SB55/v.  I would call it good, gigged condition.  A few marks and dings but that just adds to the overall goodness.  I’ve tried to capture them in the photos.

I now have a decent packing case (it transported a Keisel from USA so does the job!) so will ship at your risk and cost.  I’m easy to get to, just off the A1 in Rutland.  20 minutes south of Grantham and 20 minutes north of Peterborough, 20 minutes east of Oakham.

    I've got a Kiesel SH550 on order.  Nothing too fancy, in black and took advantage of their November sale to get some nice woods to show off on the back.

    I've still got another Eastman, SB59, which isn't going anywhere!

    Sorry to be a pedant Op, but isn’t that the Romeo La? The Juliet is the smaller solid body equivalent. Either way, bloody lovely and a great price. :+1:

    Sorry, had one and didn't get on with it.  It's the width at the nut that does it, 1.72" compared to 1.68" on the LP versions.

    Miles better than the Standard Gibson range.  You would need to go Custom Shop to beat it and then I'm not sure!

    I've had a fair few Gibsons over the years as well.  Don't own any now, Just the Eastman LP version and PRS.

    @jamcoops that’s what I’ve been hearing. The only thing that’s put me off the Eastman is that some reviews have said it doesn’t have quite the same growl for heavier stuff - have you found that to be the case?

    It has a Lollar P90 fitted.  My guess is that people say 'growl' when they mean the standard Gibson P90 is darker.  I think it sounds great.  I've got a set of Lollar P90s waiting to go in a LP style custom build when I get round to it.

    Plus the Eastman has a no-load tone pot when it's flat out, that makes a difference as well.
